How do I get started on GalaBid?First register an account here: https://dashboard.galabid.com/register Next you will be prompted to create a campaign and choose your preferred pricing option. You will then be able to upload items and add branding. You will need to connect an existing Stripe account, or set up a Stripe account to collect payments. In addition to this knowledge base, video tutorials will walk you through the set up of the wide range of features available on GalaBid.

Can I duplicate my campaign or items?Currently, there is no feature to duplicate campaigns. Items from one campaign can easily be transferred into another. In the destination campaign go to Items > Advanced Options > Transfer Items. Next search or select the relevant campaign, check the items you wish to transfer and click Transfer Items. Items within a campaign can also be duplicated using the same process.

How do I schedule a campaign start and end date?This article includes closing an Auction, Raffle and Crowdfunding campaign types. Opening an Auction In Control Panel click open auction when you are ready to start. This is currently a manual process. Closing an Auction In Control Panel click to close the auction manually or set an automatic close time. Click on the calendar icon to add the date and time and ensure the correct time zone is selected.

Can I create a custom link for my campaign?This must be done outside of GalaBid. The campaign manager can purchase a vanity URL with a vanity url provider also known as a forwarding URL, which when clicked will forward to your GalaBid campaign URL. This allows a custom link to be promoted to potential participants instead of the GalaBid URL. However, note that when participants are forwarded to GalaBid the GalaBid URL will then be visible.

Can I ask people to opt in to the charity's marketing or another customized question?Yes. Add a custom field in the Registration settings Setup > Registration. Download the bidder report in reports to view the data submitted.

How do I switch off the activity feed?Campaign Level Go to Setup > General. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click to Show Advanced Options. Uncheck the Activity Feed box and click to SAVE. Item level The activity feed for an individual item can be disabled in the Advanced Options in the item set up. Edit item then expand Advanced Options and uncheck the activity feed box.

How can I edit registration Settings on fixed fee campaigns?Default Setting On Fixed Fee campaigns the default setting for the phone number field is optional and email is required. See Setup > Registration. This collects email addresses and campaign notifications are sent by via email by default. The participant must verify their email as part of the registration process. This set up also provides participants with the option to change their preference to receive notifications via text message instead of email.

Step One Go to the branding tab on the left-hand sidebar and click 'Widgets' then click '+Add Widget Page' it will then take you to create the page.

How do I set up an Info Page?This article will give you an overview of the info page and how to set one up on the GalaBid platform. Step One Go to the setup tab on the left-hand sidebar and click 'Info pages' You will see that there is already an info page in place called FAQs, you can make edits to this page to suit your campaign/event. Step Two Click '+ Add Info Page' this will take you to create your info page, the layout for this will look similar to a word document, name your info page in the 'Name' field and this is how it will appear on the front end for your participants on the lefthand sidebar.
