Items are added via Items section in the left hand menu.  Watch this short video for a walk thorugh of how to add items. Alternatively, read the steps below.  Add items one at a time Simply go to the Items section in the left hand menu. Click Add Item and select the relevant item type from the drop down menu.  Complete the fields. Include one or more images and a description.

Go to Items > Add No Risk Prizes. The prizes available in your region will load after a few moments.  Click more info to view the full prize description including any terms and conditions. The price GalaBid charges for each prize/item is listed above MORE INFO on each prize. To add a prize(s) to your campaign, on a sale or return basis, check the relevant box(s) and click the IMPORT button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Yes.  A tax such as sales tax can be added and then applied to relevant items. The tax or fee can be set as a percentage and will be applied at the point of payment.  Any tax collected is included in the payment processed by Stripe and deposited to the bank account associated with the Stripe account. It is the responsibility of the campaign adminstrator to pay the tax and complete any relevant forms to comply with local laws.

Max bidding is not available on GalaBid. When a bidder enters their bid amount, the full amount is placed as a bid immediately. This amount is displayed as the highest bid on the item until the bidder has been outbid.  

Yes, go to the items tab and select the items to hide, then in Basic Settings see the Visibility field. Switch this on and press save to hide these items. 

When editing the item expand the Advanced Settings (under the description box) This will reveal the label options. Labels are visible to potential bidders on the Items list page and within the item description.

In Items, edit the relevant Item. In the description box click the video icon (reel, next to image icon) and enter the video's url. In Setup > Info Pages add or edit an Info page to show the edit box. Follow the same process, using the video icon to add a video to this Info page. 

In Items, edit or Add the new item. In the Item Description box type then select the email, text or phone number to be hyperlinked. Click the chain icon and add the url to link it to. In Setup > Info Pages add or edit the Info Page to reveal the box including the chain icon as above. 

This is not yet available. To add images to an item edit the item and then upload the image files from your computer. You can select multiple images at once to upload into one item.   Image specifications are as follows.  Max Width: 10000px Max Height: 10000px Max Size: 8MB

You can add more than 20 images however we recommend keeping the number of images under 10 to minimise loading times especially for campaigns with a large number of items.  To add images to an item edit the item and then upload the image files from your computer. In items, add or edit the item. Expand the Advanced Options under the Item Description box. Scroll down and check the box named Fill Item Image Box This is how the item image looks when not filled This is how it looks when filled.

Go to items. Click Bulk Update. Select items. Scroll to bottom of the page and click next. Under Auction Item Settings switch on Bid Slider (turns green) but leave the check box unticked. 

Go to Items > Categories. Select and drag the categories into the desired order. Note the Save Ordering Bar, click to save the new order on right hand corner of the screen. 

Go to Items and drag the items into the desired order using the two lines next to the item codes/numbers. Ensure to click save to save the new order.  The alternative is go to Items > Advanced Options and export your items, edit the order etc then save the file. Next in Advanced options again, click Import items to upload the edited file.  Do not delete any rows, columns or cells in order for the file to re-upload successfully.

Auction Items To add market value for Auction items, go to Items, edit the auction item, and expand Advanced Options under the Description Box to reveal and complete the market value field. Raffles  To add market value for a raffle prize, go to Items, edit the Raffle item, expand Advanced Options under the Description Box to reveal and complete the market value field. If a market value is entered it shows on the raffle ticket purchaser's invoice.

The bulk update feature on the GalaBid platform is a quick and easy way to edit multiple items at once. You can find the bulk update feature under the items tab > BULK UPDATE. The first step is to select the items you wish to update, you can select the items by ticking the white box found to the left of the item or you can select them all by clicking the white box at the top.
